We highly recommend participants to attend the Composting For Beginners workshop, before the Vermicomposting For Beginners workshop. This is because the content in the former workshop sets important fundamentals for the latter.

 

Workshop Details:

  • 1-hour session consisting of the following—
    • Teaching segment (using presentation slides from the instructor’s laptop)
    • Demonstration (applicable only to Composting and Vermicomposting)
    • Quiz and/or games with prizes
    • Q&A (if time permits)
  • Workshop will be conducted in English
    • To encourage the learning of Mandarin, we may introduce a few easy Mandarin words and phrases (related to composting) and bring them up during the games/quiz segment.
  • There is no fixed limit on the number of participants per workshop. However, we recommend no more than 30 participants for the best learning experience.

 

Fees And Payment:

  • A fixed one-time fee per workshop (all-inclusive)
    • 50% non-refundable deposit to be made via cash, cheque, bank transfer, or e-invoice through vendors@gov within 48 hours of booking.
    • Booking will only be confirmed upon receiving deposit. Please note that clients may risk losing their preferred date / time slot to other clients if they fail to make the deposit within the 48-hour deadline.
    • We do not accept any change in workshop topic, date and timing after booking has been confirmed.
    • Remainder 50% payment to be made in cash or cheque immediately after the workshop.
  • We will issue an invoice and receipt for each payment.

How To Book A Workshop?

  1. Fill in our contact form or email info@kainosis.com with the following:
    • Name of institution / organisation / community
    • Preferred date(s) and timeslot(s)
      • Note: Our available dates are on Mondays, Thursdays, and weekends
    • No. of workshop participants
    • Participants’ demographic (i.e. secondary school students)
    • Full address for the venue that the workshop will be conducted in—please note that the client will be required to provide a projector (with HDMI input), a projector screen, and a table. A hands-free microphone and stage are also required if the workshop attendance is expected to be large.
    • Choose 1 topic: Composting For Beginners (or) Vermicomposting For Beginners (or) Aquaponics For Beginners
    • Acknowledge Fees And Payment section (above) and Terms & Conditions section (below).
  2. Await our reply
  3. Make 50% non-refundable deposit via cash, cheque, bank transfer, or e-invoice through vendors@gov within 48 hours of booking.
    • Booking will only be confirmed upon receiving deposit. Please note that clients may risk losing their preferred date / time slot to other clients if they fail to make the deposit within the 48-hour deadline.
